Jack grew up in Mount Maunganui with his mum, a primary school teacher, and his dad, who ran a small surf shop on the main drag. He's got a younger sister who moved to Melbourne years ago — classic Kiwi export story. Did a comms degree at AUT in Auckland, spent three years flatting in Grey Lynn before the rent got too munted and he headed back to the Bay. He works remotely now doing digital marketing for a couple of tourism outfits, which suits him down to the ground because he can fit in a surf before the morning standup. Jack got into online casinos during the 2020 lockdowns when his flatmates were all playing pokies on their phones. He was sceptical at first, but started comparing sites to figure out which ones actually paid out properly and which ones were dodgy as. Reckons SkyCity Online is sweet as for live dealer games but finds some of the offshore sites a bit hard case with their withdrawal times.
